Synopsis

A bite-sized morsel of SBS's history based program

ADbc is a history based quiz program targeted at a cross generational demographic - featuring world history from the Stone Age to the 20th century – but not the kind of history you were tested on at school!

It’s not serious and worthy history, but rather a mix of factual information with intelligent discussion and blatantly silly behaviour, to deliver a highly entertaining format providing both humour and a healthy dose of take home info.

The rules easy to follow: there are two teams of two (the AD team and the bc team) consisting of an academic and a comedian working together in an attempt to win the game. Can the historian be funny? Will the comedian know anything about history?
