  • On April 5 1968, the morning after the assassination of Martin Luther King, America's inner cities began to implode. In Boston the concerned mayor decided to cancel a long-scheduled James Brown concert, but after warnings had a change of heart. When the mayor came on stage and urged attendees to honour Dr King peacefully fans rushed to the stage.
