Join Maeve O’Meara and chef Guy Grossi as they take us into the world of Italian food in Italian Food Safari.

Included are stories, recipes and kitchen wisdom that represent the ‘life’ that Italians enjoy. From the crusty breads, pillows of ravioli and sweet vongole, to the rustic ragu, mouth-watering porchetta and delicate pannacotta – it’s the beautiful simplicity of Italian food that weaves its magic and seduces the taste buds.

Handed down through generations from people who remember growing up in the villages of Calabria or Sicily, or dining in fine restaurants in Venice or Rome, these are recipes from the many generations who hold their tradition close to their hearts.

Kiss an Italian on both cheeks and enjoy la dolce vita.

This cook book is a key essential to our kitchen. So many brilliant recipes such as Brazied mussels with chilli, tomato and olives, Baked snapper with parsley, chilli and oregano and the simple spaghetthi with garlic and olive oil which have all become family favourites and even better the recipes are simple, and dont take alot of time. Sometimes the simple things in life are often the best
