The FA Cup Final is one of the year's biggest sporting attractions. Broadcast to an audience of millions around the world in 2009 it was again played at the Australian-built Wembley Stadium.
The 2009 FA Cup Final saw Chelsea go home with the coveted trophy for the fifth time as Guus Hiddink’s men defeated Everton at Wembley.
In the 128th year of the world’s oldest domestic football club competition, the
Blues were just too strong, winning the FA Cup for the second time in three years. Chelsea went in as favourites after dominating Watford and Coventry City away from home on route to defeating Arsenal 2-1 in a tough Semi Final at Wembley. They then duly dominated the Toffees and ran out victorious.
