For some reason we didn't get Season 1 in Canada, but we're getting Season 2 on TVO. Am loving it! Great acting--love Susie Porter and Don Hany. Great storylines, especially Malik's conflict between work and home and Wright's conflict with her family. Hope to get a hold of Season 1's episodes.
An outstanding series which far outperforms any other drama I have seen. The character developments were realistic showing the weaknesses as well as strengths. How refreshing in a world where TV characters are more often than not portrayed without flaws. Looking forward to a 3rd series.
not brilliant at all. it is simply better because its competition on other channels is so poor. the diction is often unintelligble due to the actors trying to speak too fast in the mistaken belief that it increases tension or perhaps because they are just bad actors and need a good coach. they forget that if the viewer cannot understand what it is they are mummmmmmbling, they may as well not say a thing; also it appears that they are making up the script as they go along and this is merely common doggerell which Shakespeare warned us about in Hamlet's speech to the play actors.
Love it! Not a fan of aussie detective dramas and then along comes this fantastic series! the story lines, the actors, everything.....I love Tuesday nights on SBS. What a fabulous drama. I have spread the word. Series 2 has started off even better. Well done!
Way better than City Homicide and Rush. Best crime series since the first Underbelly Series.
This show is absolutely brilliant, thank goodness SBS continues to produce stand-out quality shows utilsing the first class talent of actors like Don Hany. If you are looking for outstanding writing and gritty, raw performances set in the real world, then you will love this series. A shame it is only 6 episodes long! Loving Series 2 right now.
Thankfully some one in Australian television knows how to make good Australian drama, well done sbs. Don Hany is great but I have to say my fav is Susie Porter she is brilliant in this role and what a great role it is for a woman. Would love to see the actors do a special talking about the characters they play.
One of the best shows I have watched in a long time; riveting with a great storyline and excellent acting (Don Hany)! Saw it when visiting Sydney and ordered Series 1 when I returned to Switzerland. Can't wait to watch it.
Brilliant. So glad I caught the repeats just shown on SBS. Looking forward to series 2.
Aussie drama as it should be. Possibly the best Aussie drama of all time. Certainly the best since Wildside. Don Hany and William McInnes are magnificent! Can't wait for series 2.
