Thank you for helping me enforce the love and passion of traditional Italian Cooking to my 6 children and their children. From the annual salsa making to the home made pasta and lasagna for Christmas etc it has now become a ritual that they insist we keep doing for the benefit of their children especially the regional cookery of Sicily.

This certainly took me back to my childhood. Watching my Mum cooking and doing it from scratch was just such a tearjerker of happy memories for me when I watched this series. Thank you so much

A trip down to memory lane of my childhood that makes me now appreciate more of the work in preparing and the passion in the food we grew up with. At the time in the 50s/60s we would be too embarrassed to share with our Australian friends. Now everyone seems to want to learn to cook and paying at restaurants for what we thought was very simple food our mothers made.
