Overview
Tony Robinson (Blackadder) and science journalist Becky McCall step into the unknown to investigate whether past paranormal events should be taken seriously or dumped into history’s litterbin. In this three-part series, psychics, historians, scientists and fellow investigators advise Robinson and McCall with the use of psychic techniques such as past life regression, psychometry, séance and automatic writing.
Tackling the mysteries surrounding Glastonbury, Churchill’s Witch and reincarnated members of French medieval sect the Cathars, Tony and Becky seek to unlock information about the past in extraordinary ways. Psychic techniques are studied and analysed for signs of fakery, delusion or alternative explanations. Myths and legends are probed to find the roots of their hold on our imagination. It’s part myth-busting, part historical adventure and all open-minded journey.
