‘Lifestyles’ journalist Nynne Larsen lives a life of metropolitan chic, always knowing what’s hip and happening around Copenhagen. To her, life in journalism is a dream – there’s always a new world to explore and a new person to meet. But it hasn’t helped with her love live.

On the day Nynne makes the decision to “to never, ever mess around with men again” she meets Lars, her new colleague and the man of her dreams. But by the time Nynne has re-located her make-up and self-esteem, it’s too late: Her office rival has already snatched him up.

Nynne tries to move on with the help of internet dating; (no happy endings there) investigative journalism; (so not worth the effort) and friends and family; (who want her to mind her own business). Lars remains the only one who makes her heart tremble, so Nynne convinces herself that love doesn’t require passion. Or does it?
