Once every four years some of the world’s best pastry chefs compete to win the coveted blue, white and red collar awarded to the MOF - Meilleur Ouvrier de France or Best Craftsman in France.

The film follows the progress of 3 of the 16 finalists as they battle against each other in the gruelling three day competition. Each contestant must produce everything from delicate chocolates to precarious six foot sugar sculptures and requires extraordinary skill, nerves of steel and more than a little bit of luck!

This masterful documentary captures all the high-stake dramas of the competition - the passion, sacrifice, disappointment and joy along with the obsession of the chefs, in their quest to become one of the Kings of Pastry.
