We drove along the north, west and south coast of France last year to places we'd never been in the past. A wonderful trip, now thanks to SBS we've realised how much we still missed en route, so will need another slower journey. Wonderful documentary.

More please....how inspiring, such a relief that a part of Europe is haven to wildlife/bird life on such a scale...the sooner it is declared a national park the better....Carmargue, the mistrals and the wind's influence on life here...is fascinating. more on the medieval pilgrimage history and the journey from here to Santiago De Compostela would be of great interest.

I love the French coast. What was the cute little city with twin towers at the entrance to the harbour? What is the connexion between this part of Brittany, and Britain itself? I find this series entertaining, relaxing and uplifting. That's a lot better than the usual fare of celebrity shenanigans, cooking shows and Pommy tours. Thanks Silvio and SBS you are excellent.
