Overview

"This album, Heritage, is special for a number of reasons. Firstly, it marks a return to our Celtic roots after successful and immensely enjoyably diversions with projects like IT’S ENTERTAINMENT and CHRISTMAS... The repertoire on the album is a healthy mix of old and new, of solos, duets and ensembles.

"Keith shows two sides of his character, from the folksy storytelling of THE DUTCHMAN to his rocking duet with Neil on WHISKEY IN THE JAR.

"Neil also proves he is more than just a ‘guitar god’ with his sensitive vocal on NOREEN, another original of mine.

"Damian shows off his beautiful voice on BUACHAILL ON EIRNE.

"Ryan is back at his ‘Dark Destroyer’ best with BLACK IS THE COLOR and then goes all sentimental as he joins George to duet on GOLD & SILVER DAYS.

"George is revelling in his relatively new role as ‘King of the Singalong’ and he delivers an irresistible, infectious version of RED ROSE CAFÉ.

"Some of the strongest and most popular parts of any CELTIC THUNDER show are the ensembles and on Heritage they certainly don’t disappoint. I defy you not to tap your feet to GALWAY GIRL and A PLACE IN THE CHOIR, or to join in the chorus of HOME FROM THE SEA!

"We all had a lot of fun making and got a lot of satisfaction from this album – maybe it was because we had a sense of being back where we belong!"
