Overview

Welcome to the world of Classical-Pop!

This entertaining collection of 15 songs (nearly 77 minutes of music) brings together stunning modern orchestrations of popular songs from the 60s and 70s written and made famous by a galaxy of famous artists including The Doors, Pink Floyd, Neil Diamond, Michael Jackson, The Carpenters, and of course, The Beatles.

The artists performing on these arrangements are themselves highly respected in the crossover world. Jaz Coleman has arranged many of the tracks and plays them with orchestras of the ilk of the London Philharmonic, and Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra (in a sense, the predecessor to André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra). Soloists such as violinists Nigel Kennedy and David Garrett, and guitarist Göran Söllscher, add to the star power of this compilation!
