Hundreds of applicants from all over Australia arrive at the Sydney open auditions eager to impress the 3 judges: film-maker, Anupam Sharma; Bollywood talent-spotter and photographer Raj Suri, and leading Bollywood choreographer Dipti Patil, from the Shiamak Davar Group.
The judges are not only looking for talent in acting and dance; applicants need to display a knowledge of Bollywood, and a passion to succeed in the world’s largest and most competitive film industry. By the end of the day, Anupam, Dipti and Raj have to decide on just 24 finalists, but will they find an Australian Bollywood star?
