Episode Three

In India, we see the top six stretched to their limits in acting and dance training, pushed emotionally and immersed deep into Indian life. Mentor, Anupam reveals they have to impress a new panel of Bollywood judges at a special public performance to be held at the end of the week, with two of the six returning to Australia. Trained by two of their judges, Bollywood choreographer to the stars, Shiamak Davar, and acting coach Asha Chandra, the finalists are put through their paces and some struggle to keep up. Anupam gives them a taster of the scale of Bollywood movies with a visit to N.D. Studios, where they meet their third judge, Emma Brown, an Aussie actress living the Bollywood dream. And on the streets of Mumbai, they’re confronted by the poverty, and begin to question themselves about how and whether they fit in with the world’s biggest film Industry. By the end of the week, and with their dream on the line, the top six fight for their chance to stay in the competition by performing a group dance routine, and acting before an audience of locals, and the three discerning judges.
