The Holy Week Pardon
A Spanish religious festival in which a prisoner are pardoned.
In Malaga, Spain, Ash Wednesday is the day the town's patron saints, Jesus el Rico and Maria Santissima del Amor, are carried through the streets of the town by a devout brotherhood of 2,000 or so men.
It's also the day when, true to an old tradition, one of the inmates of the central prison is pardoned. This year, Antonio Perez de Los Santos is the 216th prisoner to be chosen.
No one among the crowd knows who he is. Once pardoned, he'll lead the eight-hour procession through the town, at the end of which he'll be a free man.

New Zealand’s Sacred Mountain
The Maori legends and the scenic beauty of Mount Tongariro in New Zealand.
1500 years ago, the Maoris lit a fire on the summit of Mt Tongariro and it became their sacred mountain.
The Tuwharetoa still live near the mountain to this day.
Their chief, Tukino Te Heuheu, made a gift of the sacred mountain to the New Zealand government in 1887 under the condition that the region and the mountain should become a National Park for the people of New Zealand.
Now the National Park has become a famous tourist location and attracts visitors from all over the world.
