The Full Moon Murderer

A serial killer has been murdering a young lady every full moon in one of Vienna’s cemeteries. When the next full moon is imminent, Brandtner orders all the cemeteries to be kept under the highest surveillance. With these precautions in place, they can’t prevent the murder of young art student Judith Geiger.

Brandtner soon discovers that Judith was having an affair with her art professor Paul Mandl. Brandtner suspects that the teacher is responsible for the murder, but he has an alibi. By chance Brandtner stumbles upon hairdresser Kurt Schima. Upon questioning, Schima confesses to all the murders, except for Judith’s.

When Dr. Graf confirms that Judith was pregnant, Brandtner suspects Mandl once again. But Mandl can prove his innocence, and Brandtner is forced to direct his search elsewhere.
