Living Black Season 20 Episode 3

Living Black's ANZAC special comes to you from Adelaide at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial.

Professor Tom Calma, the first Indigenous person appointed to the National Defence Reserves Support Council, will speak about the important role of the Army Reservists, Indigenous involvement in the Army Reserves, what the Council aims to do and also the important role and contribution made by our Indigenous servicemen and women and their lack of recognition.

We also have profiles on Indigenous people currently serving in the armed forces as well as a look at the work being done to recognise the role and contribution made by Indigenous Australians in the defence of our country.

Tune in on SBS ONE on Mondays 5pm & NITV on Tuesdays 8pm for Indigenous stories that matter to all Australians, hosted by Karla Grant.
