Srivilai shares her journey

Srivilai grew up in a poor country town in northern Thailand called Pichit. To make a living, her and her family made kanom jeen and sold it in the local marketplace. Since moving to Australia in 1996, Srivilai now runs a popular restaurant in Sydney's Kirribilli.

Linda and Lenny – A love story

Lenny Laird visited Burma (Myanmar) while backpacking in 1993, and fell in love with Linda. He soon asked her to marry him, and, after three years, she agreed. In 1996, Linda moved to Australia. Her and Lenny currently live in Adelaide with their two sons.

Ke carves herself a new life

Ke moved to Australia from Yunnan, China, at the end of May in 2007, at the age of 19. In this interview, she talks about her first meal Down Under, settling into a new culture, and cooking traditional meals with a twist.
