Sarmad Salah Patros from Ainkawa the predominantly Christian neighborhood of Erbil was kidnapped on Monday 12/12/2011. At 3.30pm Monday afternoon, an Arab man enters the curtain shop where Salah works. He asks the shopkeeper to send him a worker to measure the sizes of curtains for his house. "There four people grabbed me and said if I say a word, they would kill me," Salah said. "Later they said they want a ransom. "The kidnappers did not hurt me," he added. "They fed me but did not allow me to contact my family."
