Während Australien schwitzt, leidet Europa unter einer Superkälte. Ob in Rom, am Schwarzen Meer oder auf Mallorca: Überall fiel Schnee, und die Meteorologen sprechen vom heftigsten Wintereinbruch seit 25 Jahren. In London wurden am Sonntag fast ein Drittel aller Flüge gestrichen, und in Deutschland war die Nacht zum Samstag die bisher kälteste Nacht des Winters. Ein Ende des Frostes ist nicht abzusehen.
