Nitza Lowenstein

Nitza joined SBS in 1988 and is the Executive Producer of the Hebrew language program.

Nitza graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Bar Ilan University in Israel, majoring in Hebrew literature and Jewish History. She also holds a Master of Arts (M.A) from the Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, South Africa, for her thesis on the revival and development of Hebrew as a modern language of communication after being dormant for 2000 years. Nitza completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Management, from Macquarie University's Graduate School of Management in Sydney.

Nitza is also an official Court Interpreter and a Civil Marriage Celebrant. She enjoys the challenge of working at SBS mainly because of the diverse, talented and incredible people she is privileged to meet and interview for the program.
