Prof. Pedro Berliner is the Director of the Blaustein Institutes for Desert research, Ben-Gurion University in the Negev (the Israeli desert).
He told our listeners about mutual research projects between Israel and Australia in the areas of efficient use of water and techniques that make use of flood waters for the irrigation of orchards and forests, planted in arid zones.
