Monday
Sport, culture, calendar, lifestyle, film and music.
Sport reports from Mr Peter Serényi, the cultural reports from Ms Krisztina Szepesi (Hungary). Ms Csilla Csűrös (Hungary) report once a month about the latest Hungarian lifestyle trends.

Tuesday
The program has international and Australian short stories, enviromental issues, history and literature segments.

Friday
In this late night program with sports, food and community stories.

Saturday
After the Newsbulletin and the sport report from Budapest, produced by Mr Peter Serényi, there are more Australian and international current topics, we talk to our Hungarian stringers, Mr Tibor Kovácsy, Mr László Tamás Papp, Mr Zoltán Farkas, or Mr Pál Molnár who gives relevant, variety of political analysis of Hungary, member of the EU. After International and Australian current affair segments, features, and interviews, in our weekly portre, listeners can meet exceptional persons, families, Hungarians living around the World.

Katalin Kiss

Katalin is the Executive Producer of the Hungarian language program and joined SBS Radio in 1998.

She has got a Degree in Teaching in Budapest, and worked in several media, marketing and publishing before.

She first worked in radio and television in Hungary at the age of 7 to 17 as a reporter, then she was teaching in Szentendre, and also worked for Budapest Art Gallery, and for HBO, the American movie channel, as a copy writer.

After a brief affair with East-South Asia, working as a producer, she arrived with her family to Australia in 1998.

Kata's best interests focus on homeland affairs, social and youth issues and cultural events.

János Zoltán

Janos is the producer of the Hungarian language program in Melbourne. He joined SBS Radio in May 2009.

He was only 8 years old during the Soccer World Cup in 1974, but he recorded his own commentaries of the soccer games with an old fashioned tape recorder.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Budapest in 1990, then he continued his studies in one of the first established media schools. Later he was able to work for the Hungarian Television's Sport Department as a Reporter, Presenter and Program Producer.

At the age of 28, he founded his own production company, to produce programs and current affairs segments. Janos has also spent a year in Auckland, where he obtained a degree in producing short films and documentaries.

His main interests include sports and portraying the different fates of people.

Szilvia Malik

Szilvia is a producer of the Hungarian program in Melbourne, joined SBS Radio in 2009.

She graduated from high school in the USA at the age of 16, and holds a Master of European Studies from Denmark and an Economics degree from the United States.

Szilvia also has a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Hungary, and has lived, studied and worked in four different countries in three different continents.

In 2002 Szilvia won the Association of Hungarian Journalists’ prize for excellence in journalism for her article on racism, and was also awarded the Robert Schuman scholarship and worked for the European Parliament as a Journalist in 2004.

Szilvia arrived to Melbourne in 2007, and she enjoys reporting on racial and cultural issues, and European politics.
