Minister Mervin Silva has come under attack from the local council of his electorate, Kelaniya. The Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha has accused the controversial minister of extortion, illegal land acquisition, misusing funds and interfering in the local government body's work and urged the government to conduct a probe.
