Australia's multicultural broadcaster SBS has unveiled a new schedule for its Radio network. The last time SBS embarked on such a review was in 1994, and SBS says Australian society has changed considerably since then and SBS needs to better reflect those changes in its programming in order to fulfil its Charter.

In the New Schedule Urdu Program has gained two time slots. The Urdu community is happy with this news. Leaders from the community have congratulated the Urdu broadcasters as well as the community and have thanked SBS for giving Urdu Program two time slots. Previously they had only one program a week
