SBS has decided to remove the Once Upon a Time in Punchbowl series from its schedule until full investigations are carried out to its satisfaction.

SBS launches Punchbowl exhibition

SBS presents The Heart of Punchbowl, a major exhibition that looks into the intimate and rarely seen lives of Lebanese Australians living in Punchbowl in Sydney’s south-west. Commissioned as part of SBS’s Once Upon a Time in Punchbowl series, the exhibition features large scale portraits and extracts of personal conservations between nine pairs of people, exploring everything from love, death, food and family.

SBS-BA Cycling Team the largest in the annual MS Sydney to the Gong Bike Ride

On Sunday 3 November 10,000 cyclists took part in the annual MS Gong Ride, cycling 90 kilometres from Sydney to Wollongong and raising money for the more than 20,000 Australians living with Multiple Sclerosis.

SBS and Broadcast Australia again partnered to enter the race, and the SBS-BA Cycling Team, with 215 riders, was the largest team in the event  for the second year in a row.

SBS and Global Television Partner to Deliver 2014 G20 Broadcast

Global Television has been awarded the G20 Australia 2014 Summit Host Broadcaster contract. Global will work in partnership with SBS to produce content for the Host Broadcast feed, contributing newsgathering, international news resources, production and editorial expertise.
