Aurora Short Film Festival

Australia’s leading non-profit STV community channel, Aurora will air the films and announce the winners of each category at 8:00pm on June 9.

The five charities whose work will be shown are The Regional Youth Support Services (RYSS), the World Wildlife Federation Australia, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia, Autism Spectrum Australia and the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy (NASCA).

Aurora CEO Phyllisse Stanton said: “Aurora represents all aspects of community and helps give a voice to everyone, large or small, and that’s what these short films stand for. From troubled youth in the Central Coast to saving turtles in the Great Barrier Reef, it’s so important that these heartfelt and diverse stories are heard.”
