The Vuelta’s second week of racing sees a Colombian, a Dutchman and an Italian in the race lead, to say nothing of rampaging motos and a rather displeased Peter Sagan. Michael Rogers finally gets his 2004 Olympic medal - only 11 years late - after the IOC finally agreed to re-assign the podium. But is this a satisfying result for the sport, or a job half-done? And Australia announces its teams for the Richmond world championships, with a view to delivering a couple of those so vaunted rainbow jerseys.
