The Belgium based squad will start its season at the People’s Choice street circuit race, the traditional curtain raiser for the Santos Tour Down Under WorldTour event held in Adelaide, South Australia.
Team selections for the race have already been decided, with Australia's Adam Hansen and Kiwi Greg Henderson joining Lars Bak, Thomas De Gendt, Gert Dockx, Pim Ligthart and Rafael Valls at the start line. The same grouping will also race the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race at the end of January.
“In January and February, there aren’t any big changes to our programme," team manager Manager Marc Sergeant said.
"We go to Down Under with Adam Hansen and Greg Henderson, who are both very motivated to perform well on their continent. And with Rafael Valls, we have a rider in the team who has top ten ambitions."
Hansen will also continue with his long running program of riding all three Grand Tours in a single season - now at 13 in a row.
"He (Hansen) will race in May in Italy (Giro d'Italia), in July in France (Tour de France) and in September in Spain (Vuelta a Espana). At least without any accidents," Sergeant said.
Missing from the lineup will be André Greipel, who holds the record for the most stage wins at the Santos Tour Down Under.
The German sprinter will start his WorldTour season at Paris-Nice, with stage wins at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France his key goals.
“André Greipel will race the first time on WorldTour level in Paris-Nice," Sergeant said. "The Tour remains obviously the main goal, but just as in 2015 he will ride the Giro."
