What's up with Bling and Gerro? Cycling Central's trio of troubadours attempts to solve the riddle. Is Alejandro Valverde much of a bike rider? We go deep into his palmares to find out. Who are we kidding, he just may be the best of his generation.

The women's racing at Fleche Wallonne was apparently excellent but there wasn't much to see on TV as Anna van der Breggen broke the Boels Dolmans stranglehold on their WorldTour.

Today's off-topic tangent takes us in the direction of Velon, an organisation hoping to ride cycling in a new direction. But is it more vapourware than cheeky startup? Have a listen.

The podcast usually runs every two weeks and is focussed on specific themes of the cycling season - reviews and previews of the classics, Grand Tours, world championships, Olympics and whatever else fires up the rotating crew of voices.

It is also available directly on SoundCloud and on iTunes so head online or open up your apps.
