Starting in Maastricht the Amstel Gold Race features 261km and 35 climbs with the 800m long Cauberg at 12 per cent gradient its centrepiece.

In previous editions the Cauberg marked the end of the race, however, organisers have mixed things up and pushed the finish out another 16km, with two punchy climbs (Geulhemmerberg - 1km/5.8 per cent and Bemelerberg - 900m/7 per cent) coming before the final five kilometres to the finish.

The 121km women’s race will finish 1.1km after the summit of the Cauberg, in Valkenberg.
