Its men's national team selections were finalised post Vuelta a Espana with Tim Wellens (Lotto Soudal) and Deceuninck-Quick Step pair Tim Declercq and Yves Lampaert named.

The trio join Philippe Gilbert (Deceuninck-Quick Step) fresh for the Vuelta where he took two stage wins, Olympic champion Greg Van Avermaet (CCC) whose legs are clearly in good shape after winning the GP Montreal WorldTour race, Oliver Naesen (AG2R La Mondiale), Dylan Teuns (Bahrain-Merida) and and the hugely talented Remco Evenepoel, also Deceuninck-Quick Step.

Team boss Rik Verbrugghe will have no shortage of firepower available for the rolling 285km race which will be held 29 September in Yorkshire, England with Gilbert and Van Avermaet sure to play a part in the final outcome.

The women's team will be driven by Valérie Demey (CCC), Sofie de Vuyst (Parkhotel Valkenburg), Kelly van den Steen (Lotto Soudal Ladies) and Julie van de Velde, also from Lotto Soudal Ladies.

SBS will stream selected events from the 2019 UCI Road World Championships from 22-29 September on SBS On Demand and our website with live TV coverage of the women's and men's road races scheduled for SBS Viceland.
