Join cycling journalist Rupert Guinness in his virtual quest to race across America in 12 days from 16-28 June.

If that's still too far, maybe the Virtual Race Across the West (1,488kms) or the60 (one-hour rides on each of the 12 days) is more your cup of tea?

To enter, head to the FulGaz website (you'll need to subscribe to FulGaz first). Hurry - entries close 11:59pm, 8 June.

Need more info on how to get on the virtual road? More info on basic set up here and here

Still not for you? Join in the fun as a 'dot-watcher'. Yes, you can track the progress of Rupert and other VRAAM riders 24/7 as they race across America via the FulGaz dot watcher portal.

Cycling Central will bring you all the action from VRAAM and updates from Rupert. More details to come.
