Former professional cyclist Floyd Landis is about to launch a Colorado based company which according to the press release specialises in cannabis oil "sourced from high altitude growers using an industry leading pharmacy grade CO2 extraction process."

Landis is looking forward to his new role as a cannabis product producer.

"I am really excited about this new phase of my life. The cannabis industry is growing fast and I am fortunate to have this opportunity to play a role."

"The therapeutic uses for cannabis can't be ignored. For years I relied on opiod pain relievers to treat my hip pain. With cannabis, I find I can manage my pain and have a better quality of life. We need to give people a safer alternative."

Cycling publication Velonews posted a tongue in cheek piece about the news going as far to say it was another point to Landis in the bad blood battle against Lance Armstrong as his Aspen base is nearby and wondered if he would pop in to sample the products

If he did he probably can't get this discount.

USA shakes off doping past with successful world championships
In the midst of the Richmond world championships wrap up, Lance Armstrong's latest court dealings bring closure rather than controversy as the United States welcomes positive cycling stories and growth in the popularity of the sport as a whole.

10,000 riders are expected to hit Portland, Oregon (USA) next weekend for the World Naked Bike Ride.

While police said they won't arrest anyone over the multiple violations of city code they recommended some safety gear and expressed a sense of humour.

"At a bare minimum, the Portland Police Bureau recommends riders at least wear a helmet and shoes to avoid any potential injuries."

The police also said riders should stay on the six mile planned loop.

Always interesting to hear what these guys think. And it helps get in the mood for the #SBStdf! Not long now.
