Journey to Italy

For her second cookbook, Made In Italy, Italian-born Silvia Colloca takes us to the villages where she grew up in Italy's Abruzzo, Marche and Molise regions.


The 50 recipes in her cookbook showcase the regional, seasonal food of these regions. A bounty that transforms everyday cooking into exceptional dining, with only a little more effort.

"I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of foodies," says the How to Cook Like an Italian star. "No wonder I have such a passion for the food of my homeland."

Bake the greats

Poh has been baking since she was nine years old, so it's fair to say she has nailed a recipe or 100 along the way. Poh Bakes 100 Greats is where she generously shares her expertise.


On the sweet side, there are Poh versions of classics like cinnamon scrolls, flourless chocolate cake or Turkish delight, as well as SBS Food winners like Persian love cake and Bee sting cake (bienenstich). There's also an excellent selection of savoury bakes like breads, pies and quiches.
