The flavour possibilities are endless. Whether you prefer fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, spices, sauces or simply dabble in all of the above and more then check out this series of serious smoothie sensations that will add a little wholesome pop to your day (and to your table).

1. Ready for berry?

Acai (pronounced a-sigh-ee) berries are a Brazilian superfood high in antioxidants and here it's topped with toasted granola, fresh figs, Brazil nuts and pomegranate seeds.

6. We're playing matchmaker over here

Avocado is an intriguing and totally underrated ‘sweet’ ingredient. Here they're combined with coconut milk, frozen bananas and matcha to lend a lovely silky texture and great nutty flavour.

This smoothie gives carob new life. Maximising on its mild choc and caramel potential, it's combined with almond milk to give it a brownie-feel without the guilt.
