Following a season of what is widely considered to be one of the best shows on television (if not the best), Fargo has been renewed by FX in the US – and will land on SBS, which has lifetime rights to the show.

No air date has been set, but Noah Hawley will return as Showrunner and Joel and Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield, and John Cameron will executive produce.

While the third installment is said to be “all new”, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether any of the characters from the second season will return (in the second season, the character Lou Solverson returns as a young man).

If you haven’t already, make sure you catch up on the second season here. And if you’re still not sure you want to invest the time, read this.

After that, if you still don’t watch this show, well, then, you’ve got other problems.
