Listen, everybody gets nervous.
Especially during those big moments of anticipation – maybe you’ve got a big match coming up, or you’re about to give a speech in front of the president of the company… or you’re awaiting the results of a nationally televised dance competition. You start to sweat, your stomach rumbles, something’s got to give.
Well, not for Bindi Irwin. Despite what certainly sounds like a prolonged trumpet toot mixed with hints of baritone saxophone, the winner of Dancing with the Stars in the US denies having passed anything approximating gas.
“Nope, not me,” she told the gossip site TMZ. “That was the mic, actually. If a mic could actually pick that kind of thing up, that’s an extraordinary mic."
"But it was kind of funny," she added.
While we would argue that there is nothing funny about the anxiety and apprehension that leads to devastating winds, we’re glad she’s got a sense of humour about the whole business.
