It's been established in a variety of ways that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the nicest man on Earth. With each year, the Ballers star willingly sheds more and more of his hyper-masculine exterior to reveal the doughy Care Bear inside (read his touching tribute to the puppy he saved from drowning), and this week he shot his heart ray at a seven-year-old cancer patient.

Gabriel “Tater” Singleton, from Georgia, first caught the public eye after revealing a wish to meet his hero on social media.

Now a month later and the gamble seems to have paid off. Johnson took to Instagram to invite Tater to the set of the new Baywatch movie, announcing he’s not only “super pumped” to meet the boy, but that he’s “a big bald headed dude LUCKY to meet” him as well.

The Rock then ended the post by admitting “Tater” is a cooler nickname than his own.

As Tater’s family and the online world wait for what will no doubt be a memorable moment, the boy’s mother couldn’t contain her gratitude, offering thank you's and hugs in equal measure.

This isn't the first time The Rock has inspired a fan with cancer...

It's official: The Rock is the greatest.
