Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull was just tweeted by the 'House of Cards' official account. This is second time the Netflix account has reached out to the prime minister.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull gave a press conference earlier this morning, saying he'd be calling Senate back to parliament early and pushing for a double dissolution election in July.

Referring to the senate's lack of support on the bills he wanted passed, Turnbull tweeted that the "time for playing games is over".



The official account of political drama series 'House of Cards' then replied to his tweet:







This isn't the first time the Netflix original series has tweeted our current prime minister. Following the leadership spill, several comparisons between Turnbull and the series antagonist, Frank Underwood, came to light including this iconic pose.



When brought up during Turnbull's maiden interview as prime minister on Channel 7's 'Sunrise', he said the only thing he had in common with Underwood was they both exercised on a rowing machine.

“I have nothing in common, other than we both use a rowing machine,” he said.
