For months now, people have been walking up to me on the street asking, begging to find out when season 4 of the Canadian thriller Orphan Black would be returning to SBS’s screens.

“Tell us!” they scream. “Tell!! Us!!”

I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t know the answer… until now.

 

Catch up on seasons 1, 2 and 3

First, you should know that for the next three weeks, entire previous seasons will be on SBS 2 and on SBS On Demand. (All times AEDT.)

Season 1 will air on Friday 1 April from 10:00pm (Episodes 1-5) and Saturday 2 April from 10:40pm (Episodes 6-10). On Sunday 3 April, the entire season will be available on SBS On Demand.

Season 2 will air on Friday 8 April from 10:00pm (Episodes 1-5) and Saturday 9 April from 10:20pm (Episodes 6-10). On Sunday 10 April, the entire season will be available on SBS On Demand.

Season 3 will air on Friday 15 April from 10:40pm (Episodes 1-5) and Saturday 16 April from 10:20pm (Episodes 6-10). On Sunday 17 April, the entire season will be available on SBS On Demand.

 

Season 4, express from the US

Starting from 15 April, new episodes will be available on SBS On Demand every Friday at 6pm (AEST), just hours after the US broadcast.

Those new episodes will then broadcast on the following Tuesdays (starting from 19 April) at 9:30pm (AEST) on SBS 2.

In addition to announcing when new episodes will be available on demand, The Guide will also be featuring a variety of exciting content about the show, including interviews, essays and more so check in frequently.

In the meantime, here’s a preview of season 4:
