Downfall (Germany, 2004)
The insightful and shattering story that journals the last days of Hitler’s life spent in a bunker beneath Berlin awaiting his demise. Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2005.

Das Boot (Germany, 1981)
Nominated for six Oscars, Das Boot is still regarded as one of the greatest war films ever made for its claustrophobic exploration of life on a German U-Boat.

A visceral illustration of Hitler’s miscalculated 1942 invasion of Russia which ultimately lost him the war. Winner of three Bavarian Film Awards.
