Just like Latin America and its fiery telenovelas, India has an equally entertaining soap opera industry.

And in its latest attempt to push their boundless boundaries, Colors television soap, Sarsurai Simar Ka (which mean Simar's in-law's home) has pinched a rather iconic montage from HBO's Game of Thrones promo.

Sarsurai Simar Ka's latest promo features a sequence similar to the Game of Thrones Hall of Faces clip seen in their season six trailer.

The Hall of Faces is a house displaying the heads of all the dead characters from the show, mounted upon walls.

The Indian soap, which tells the supernatural-themed story of two sisters who marry two brothers and move into their home, used a similar sequence to illustrate the death and spookiness within their own series.

Take a look.

This isn't the first time Indian soaps have drawn similarities to Game of Thrones. Albeit unintentionally, a character on Indian historical drama Chakravartin Ashok Samrat looks strikingly like Khal Drogo.

Well, folks, if you're going to copy bits from a television show, it might as well be from a worldwide sensation. Amirite?
