While many late night TV hosts give heartfelt speeches about "how love wins" after tragedies, Full Frontal host Samantha Bee decided she was too furious to follow that trend in the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando.

Instead she delivered a blistering monologue on America's failure to do anything about their all-too-frequent mass shootings, taking Florida governor Rick Scott and authorities to task over their question-dodging and suggestion that what you should do after this kind of tragedy is pray.

"Love does not win unless we love each other enough to fix our f*cking problem... Hey, is it okay if instead of making jokes I just scream for seven minutes?" she says.

Bee also highlights Australia's response to the 1996 Port Arthur massacre.

"Australia had five mass shootings between 1987 and 1996, then the public decided that was no fun, Parliament passed strict gun laws and they haven't had a mass shooting since then. Let me repeat that, Australia hasn't had a single mass shooting since the Fresh Prince left Bel Air and was never heard from again."
