Picture this: you've woken up someplace other than your own bed with someone you met the night before. We've all been there. Can't face the inglorious walk home? Why not call a friend to come and get you?
Now picture this: you've been picking up your friends the morning after their shameful hook-ups and you start thinking, "There's got to be some way I can make money out of this."?
Former University of Michigan student Kellyann Wargo has been there. So she turned her "walk of shame shuttle" into a campus business and, thanks to an online ad gone viral, a TV show. American network VH1 loved her idea so much, they thought there was a reality series in it - and just like that, Walk of Shame Shuttle was born. And relocated to Los Angeles.
In each episode, Wargo, and comedians Michelle Collins and Jordan Pease, collect post-coital passengers and, on the drive home, grill them about their one-night stands. It's part-community service, part-therapy session, part-hangover cure and a whole lot of sex talk.
The first episode of Walk of Shame Shuttle debuts on SBS 2 tomorrow night, Tuesday June 28 at (;30pm (AEST), but you can watch it right on SBS On Demand right now:
