For those who are unfamiliar with them, the Emmy Awards celebrate achievement in the US TV industry. They're the American Logies, only there's more of everything. Shows, performers and categories. In fact, there are so many categories, they've already held a separate ceremony to hand out approximately 450 awards.

But they save the really big awards (all 397 of them) for another night. And now is that night. But for you, it's mostly likely the morning, and you're probably at work or busy with your life in some way and unable to watch the show.

That's why The Guide editor Nick Bhasin has jumped onto the SBS 2 Twitter account to provide all the essential information you need to revel in the glorious splendour that is the 2016 Emmy Awards.
