The comic book shop has long been the domain of guys. They were often unfriendly and discouraging to female customers. But times are changing.

This week on BATMANLAND, Dan and Fiona are joined by Siobhan Coombs from Kings Comics. Siobhan has worked at Kings Comics since her late teens and has watched the demographics shift in comics shops as they became more inclusive and a lot more welcoming of girls. We discuss what has changed in stores and Siobhan's own passion for comics.

Siobhan also co-hosts the popular Australian comic podcast Serious Issues

The villain on this week's Batman is Ma Parker, a villain that only appeared on the series one time. Shelley Winters stars as Ma Parker - Batman's most misogynistic villain.
