You’re The Worst

If you haven’t seen this comedy yet, get stuck in. Jimmy and Gretchen are two uber-cynics when it comes to love. They hook up at a wedding, and despite their initially adamant one-night stand approach, romance overcomes them. How will they deal with this travesty?

Season 1 is streaming now at SBS On Demand:

The Good Fight

Season 3 of beloved drama The Good Fight by creators Robert and Michelle King has been much discussed for its timeliness, guts and straight-shooting, not to mention the unexpected addition of musical cartoon numbers. It has to be seen to be relished.

Season 3 is now streaming at SBS On Demand:

After being discredited as a photojournalist, Lee Berger (Alessandro Nivola) returns to China in an effort to restore his reputation. His task? To find the man he photographed holding shopping bags in Tiananmen Square back in 1989 – the man who became known as ‘Tank Man’ and whose identity remains a mystery to this day.

The four-part series is streaming now at SBS On Demand:

This British drama is set in the northernmost town of Fortitude. The peaceful tight-knit community is rocked when its first murder, that of a research scientist, is committed. With mistrust and fear to contend with, the polar landscape becomes the backdrop to increasingly disturbing and bizarre happenings. It stars Dennis Quaid, Stanley Tucci, Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing) and Richard Dormer (Game of Thrones).

Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are now streaming at SBS On Demand:

Project Blue Book

Drawn from the real-life X-Files – unclassified records of UFO-related sightings in 1950s and 60s America – Project Blue Book is all the more absorbing for its basis in real events. Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones) stars as Dr J Allen Hynek, hired by the US Air Force to investigate reports of unexplained phenomena.

Season 1 is now streaming at SBS On Demand:

The ever watchable J.K. Simmons (Juno) plays Howard Silk in this cleverly crafted drama from the US. Based in Berlin as a career bureaucrat with the UN, Howard’s life is upended when he’s introduced to his doppelgänger from a parallel dimension. As his Alpha self, his life is rather mundane, but as Howard Prime he’s a fierce assassin sent to hunt down a terrorist hellbent on murdering a list of people, including his wife Emily (Olivia Williams). He’ll never be bored again.

Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming at SBS On Demand:

And if you're not up to date with The Handmaid's Tale, rectify that immediately. All of Season 2 and premiere episodes of Season 3 are  now streaming at SBS On Demand (new episodes every Thursday). Episode 4, below:
