When informed by the constable that having the logo displayed on the numberplate was a violation of Delhi Police traffic rules, the driver reportedly abused the cop using foul language.

It looks like a case where tables suddenly turned for a so-called ‘netaji’ of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) party of Haryana.

A brave Delhi Police constable took on a man driving a car with the logo of INLD.

When informed by the constable that having the logo displayed on the numberplate was a violation of Delhi Police traffic rules, the driver reportedly abused the cop using foul language.

But once the man realised that the constable was filming the whole incident on tape, he immediately changed tone and issued an apology.

The video was later uploaded on social media sites and the cop is heard telling the driver about Delhi traffic rules.

The driver eventually admitted that he is not a politician but just a public servant.

The constable told him – “Aaap neta hone ke kaabil bhi nahin hain … ” (You are not even capable of being a politician). He then went on to remind him that a political leader should be extra careful of not breaking rules because in Delhi – “netagiri won't work."

According to the Delhi Traffic Police rules and regulations, having a defective or a fancy numberplate is an offence as per CMVR 50,51/177 of Motor Vehicle Act, and along with section 39/192.
