African Hour to end following review of SBS Radio services

Source: SBS

SBS Radio has announced changes to its programming. Seven new languages, including Kirundi (spoken in Burundi, Tanzania and DRC), will be on air at the world's most diverse broadcaster.

Several other programming groups, including African Hour, are being discontinued from mid-November. The changes follow a review of the services. As Hannah Sinclair reports, the changes are aimed at reflecting the evolving needs of communities in Australia today.
